The new Winnipeg Box Lacrosse Commission is excited to announce a new league for minor lacrosse in the Winnipeg and surrounding area called the Greater Winnipeg Lacrosse League! Greater because the area we cover extends well past the perimeter but also greater because of the new level of co-operation with your Manitoba Lacrosse Association and Winnipeg Blizzard.
We have a refreshed board, with only a couple vacancies left, so there is room to add more members that are interested in growing our sport.
Lacrosse Canada has announced a significant amount of rule changes from U9 to U17, with the most significant changes occuring at the U17 age with the addition of crease diving, larger nets and more!
Our new look was timed to coincide with a new era of lacrosse that includes new opportunities for our female athletes and U22 athletes. Stay tuned as we keep rolling out exciting opportunities!
